You’re right about that look they give you when using it, but for me I’d say is there anything wrong ? to whom I get stared at from! I easily get pest off and I believe that this is their way to bring customers isn’t it right?.. heh (_00)
I would NOT let it bother me. It’s YOUR money. I’m sure if it was them they would be using that coupon!
IF AT A STORE: I can tell you that some employees will act like this to customers for ANY reason.. “Their so demanding, etc” Sometimes its because they don’t feel like keying it in or reading the fine print. Other times it’s why bother “they have money, why do they bother doing this.”
IF AT A RESTRUANT: People sometimes fail to tip the waiter correctly. From my understanding you should tip them the same percentage as what it would have cost without the coupon, so that might be the negativity there. (Not that you don’t, but most people fail to do this, so they’re probably assuming you would do the same.)
If it’s happening a lot, and it’s really bothering you… try this. When you hand over the coupon, just say.. “Well your advertising sure is working! It brought me in today.”
Just make sure that when you use a restaurant coupon, the tip for the server is based on the gross amount BEFORE the coupon. Servers usually get the short end of the stick when a coupon comes into play.
Remember, people with money are usually tight with a buck. That’s why they have money!
Maybe because they can’t get a discount.
I don’t know where you are shopping, but I have NEVER experienced that..
Because sometimes they want to be snobby
They might think your cheap… but that shouldn’t stop you from using the coupons.
Who cares anyway they won’t remember you
