One old trick it to pump the cooking smells from the kitchen to outside towards the street. If it smells good people will be more inclined to come in, is the theory. Another thing that might help is coupons. My wife loves them. Local area home delivery?

You need to advertise – either using radio, print or television.
well you could try making a cermercial. maybe its the cooking this one chanese place cooked horrible and they wont be seeing me ever again.

why not add a bar in the back??
place for the kids to hang-out like a game area.

Maybe you should hilight chinese traditional specials, good service, dilicious food.
Or build a website to introduce the food and your service.
I think playing some chinese music, or having something that other chinese places don’t have like the vinegar and chilli on the table and having a pictured menu outside the door
