I’m going to be taking a pre-employment test at Outback Steakhouse. I applied there as a hostess. Anyway from what i can gather its something like a personality test. Does anyone know what I can expect? I heard there is math on the test similar to SAT questions. :< god knows i **** at math and havnt done any serious problems in 4 yrs T-T.

OMG! Don’t freak out. It’s a basic aptitude test. Over grammar, basic math, and how you would handle overall situations. Just take your time, and answer the questions to the best of your ability and don’t over think it. You’ll do just fine! Don’t listen to anyone, and just go take the test! :0)

They simply want to know what area you excell in and what area you might need some help with. No one can know everything they need to about a new job, and it is a wise employer that offers this kind of tool up front. I know I would rather have a hostess who can answer a question or address some issue that may arise by her or his self instead of a dropped jaw and *umm, I don’t really know*. THAT being said, I DON’T mind if someone says *I’m not sure, but I will find out for you*

It will probably be items that you willneed to know to carry out the dutiesof the position. For a hostess this will probably include basic math and computer skills. Ask friend to help you study for basic math problems. Or try this:

    Good Luck!
