Flyers sound good… I would google an advertising/ marketing agency in your area. Also go to the local newspaper and put out an ad. You should try to buy a little section in church bullitans too! They usually set aside liek 2 pages in their weekly bullitans for local businesses..it will def attract local families to your restaurant. Offer specials for seniors/families on weekends or spruce up your menu/ outside look of the place to draw attention. Hope this helps! Good luck!
Well if you are staying small then put fliers in the local newspaper, but if you want to go a little larger try an email marketing company like Fat Atom Express. Scroll to the bottom of the page. They have made fliers with coupons for restaurants already even!
stick to newspapers, bounce back coupons ( you give them out with the bill for next time) and radio adds, butter up the local morning radio d.j with free food. sponsor something to get your name out there on posters, and always remember the best advertisement is word of mouth.
Your idea is good. You could also fax menus to office workers, etc near your restaurant. We have several menus at my office and we order off them by phone and pick up the orders to go. It is a great time saver and we know how much we will be spending too.

Put a huge like portable billboard on the sidewalk, those work well !!
