Is it wrong to use a Coupon on a First Date?

restaurant coupon
American Idol asked:

I have a coupon for this Mexican Restaurant where you buy one dinner entre and get a second one free.

Is it wrong to use that coupon on the first date even if you’re broke and you really need to use it.

Should I act like I’m going to the bathroom and then slip the coupon to the waiter?

Don’t use a coupon on the first date. I think it’s the equivalent of saying, ” I like you, but not enough to spend my hard earned money on your dinner. You’re only worth 1/2.”

No, it’s not wrong – why not save your girl-friend some money? (She *is* paying for both of you, right?)

Not the best tact, however, if finances are that bad and you don’t think you can slip it to the waiter without being seen, then be truthful with her before going out.

If she can’t respect your situation, she’s not worth the time.
