friends and family call me ghetto because i use coupons even though i can still afford to pay the full price. i just figure that if i can save the money why not.
I can relate. I used to be “too good” to use coupons, I was embarrassed. Then I started dating somone “ghetto” who always used coupons at restaurants. He actually made me realize I was being an idiot for not using coupons. Then it became almost like a contest between him and I to see who could find the best coupons to eat out and who could save the most. He and I broke up after 3 years, but I’ve taken the lessons he taught me with me. I went to use a coupon last week and my friend gave me a hard time. I told her since she didn’t agree, instead of her and I each saving $4, I would save the $8, and she could pay full price. That shut her up.
Don’t listen to others……the richest people out there are the ones who use the coupons, trust me.
Of course it is okay. Using coupons is like having a sale for those who are diligent. You wouldn’t pay full price for your clothes. Why not get your food on sale too.
Honestly you can and yeah it saves you money but alot of servers **** them cause people Tip on the amount after the coupon is added just make sure you tip on the before amount to help out you server cause they still pay taxes and tip out on that
It’s smart to use coupons! Don’t worry about what they say, obviously you are better at managing your money and they are prideful. However, I will caution you not to use a coupon on a first date, because people just don’t take well to it.
should it matter who’s pocket its from,,yours or the manufacturer’s,,the item is still getting paid for,,,,,so no you’re not ghetto, you’re just smart.. if someone else is welling to pay for it..let them.
why waste money you could be saving? especially with the economy today?
That’s why you have extra money, because you save when you can. I say use the coupons.
Of course use the coupons. The restaurants expect you to use them otherwise they would not publish them in their advertising.
