Correct my if I’m wrong, but the only things I found authentically Australian about Outback, was the real Australian accent of the advertisment, and using the world “takeaway” to describe carryout meals.
I think I was taken aback somewhat by the “Aussie style” steaks…they’re regular American style steaks, far as I can tell. But they do taste good.

i have no idea how it is in other countries but in america we are bombarded by horrible chain restaurants (don’t get me started on fast food places). and the thing i’ve noticed about outback steakhouse is that, it’s pretty much the same as any other crappy chain steakhouse. other than the decor, i see/taste nothing about the food that says australian. i could be wrong but to me it’s seems about as asutralian as taco bell or del taco is mexican.
